St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba – Melbourne VIC is seeking a Waiting List Officer to manage elective surgery waiting lists from a clerical perspective. You will support the Surgical Liaison Nurses and ensure patients are prepared for procedures, while processing forms and maintaining the PAS Waiting List Screen.

The role requires healthcare administration experience, patient data handling, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Formación

• Relevant experience in administration in a healthcare role.
• Experience with patient administration systems.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, MS Team, SharePoint and Excel.
• Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain.

Responsabilidades

• Receive and process waiting list forms from specialist clinics, private rooms and other areas of St Vincent's within stipulated time frame as per DHHS Elective Surgery Access Policy
• Accurately create, record and update the Waiting List Screen on Patient Administration System (PAS) as required
• Contact patients and schedule admission for procedures
• Schedule any appointments, that may include pre admission clinic, anaesthetic clinic, perioperative medicine unit (PMU) clinic and any associated investigations as requested by the SLN or unit
