Job summary

QT Hotels & Resorts in Canberra is seeking a friendly and proactive Guest Service Agent to deliver warm, attentive front desk service. You will assist guests with check-in/check-out, handle requests, and maintain accurate guest accounts while ensuring smooth operations.

Collaborating with Housekeeping, Reservations and Maintenance, you will help exceed guest expectations in a fast-paced hotel environment, upholding WHS standards and contributing to a welcoming Daymaker culture.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience as a GSA or in a hotel front desk.
• Warm, professional guest service delivery.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Experience with front office operations and guest accounts.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple hotel departments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service with warm welcomes and prompt responses.
• Manage check-in/check-out, cashiering, and daily transactions per procedures.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Reservations and Maintenance to meet guest expectations.
• Maintain accurate reservations, room rates, and local knowledge.
• Uphold policies, WHS standards, and a clean, safe work environment.
