Doma Hotels in Canberra is seeking a warm, guest-focused Guest Service Agent to welcome arrivals, manage check-ins/outs and assist guests with local knowledge. You will connect with guests, share Canberra insights and craft memorable stays while delivering outstanding service.

You will join a friendly team, work flexible shifts including weekends, hold an RSA, and enjoy staff benefits such as discounts, parking, wellness facilities and development opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum one year experience as a receptionist.
• RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate required.
• Approachable, friendly and customer service oriented.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Attention to detail; prioritise/organise and follow-up effectively.
• Excellent personal presentation.
• Hotel management diploma/degree is favorable but not necessary.
• Opera knowledge is favorable but not necessary.
• Ability to work rotating shifts (mornings, evenings, weekends, public holidays).

• Provide ongoing exceptional customer service.
• Anticipate guests needs and exceed service expectations.
• Complete arrival and departure checks with efficiency and accuracy.
• Create reservations for accommodation, food and beverage outlets and taxis.
• Respond to guest enquiries using strong written and verbal communication.
• Meet agreed deadlines for tasks within allocated shift times.
• Use problem solving skills for all guest complaints.
• Take ownership and accountability for completing tasks as set by supervisors and managers.
