QT Canberra is seeking a friendly Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team and deliver exceptional room service and in-hotel dining experiences. You will handle orders, liaise with kitchen, and ensure guest needs are met with care and discretion.

Qualifications

• Hospitability or F&B experience (room service a plus).
• Strong phone and in-person communication skills.
• Calm under pressure, able to juggle multiple orders.
• Physical stamina to stand, carry trays, and navigate hotel corridors.
• Team player who works well with kitchen and front-of-house.
• Flexible, positive attitude during peak and off-hour demand.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver room service orders accurately and on time.
• Take phone/app orders, confirming special requests and dietary needs.
• Set up trays/trolleys to standard; check against ticket before delivery.
• Liaise with kitchen to ensure timely, correct order prep.
• Deliver discreetly, respecting guest privacy and room entry protocols.
• Process bills and payments at point of delivery.
• Collect trays/trolleys promptly to keep floors clean and presentable.
• Follow food safety and hygiene protocols at all times.
• Work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
