Job summary

Fire and Safety Australia Pty Ltd in Perth, WA, invites an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth across the safety and emergency response sectors. You will manage existing client relationships, identify new opportunities, and collaborate with the National Sales Manager to expand our Western Australia presence.

This full-time role offers a competitive base salary, superannuation, and commissions, with occasional out-of-hours work and travel across Perth and regional WA.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Business Development, preferably mining, RTO or safety sector.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using CRM tools, ideally Salesforce.
• Proactive, results-driven attitude with a client-focused approach.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Commitment to compliance and confidentiality.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a strong client base.
• Identify new business opportunities in safety and emergency response training.
• Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the National Sales Manager to drive business growth.
• Support clients end-to-end, ensuring an exceptional experience.
• Work across Mining, Oil & Gas, Construction, Defence, Government, Infrastructure.
• Travel across Perth and regional Western Australia.
• Develop and implement growth strategies and plans.
• Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients.
• Identify and secure new sales opportunities.
• Prepare business proposals and negotiate contracts.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activity.
• Maintain accurate sales data in Salesforce CRM.
• Report on sales performance and areas for improvement.
