Smoke Alarms Australia is seeking a Business Development Manager for the Canberra/ACT Greater region. This is a full-time, work-from-home role focused on managing existing relationships and driving new business to expand the customer base.

You will prospect, engage key decision-makers, and deliver tailored compliance solutions while meeting revenue targets. A competitive remuneration package with uncapped commission is offered.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in business development or new sales roles.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to tailor solutions to client needs.
• Familiarity with the ACT market and established regional networks.

Responsibilities

• Meet existing clients and build strong ongoing relationships.
• Identify, prospect and convert new business leads to grow revenue.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Provide expert advice and solutions addressing client compliance needs.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
• Aim to achieve and exceed personal and team sales targets.
