Job summary

Salexo Consulting is seeking a Business Development Manager to grow the Sydney customer base with a focus on workplace safety and compliance products. You will develop territorial plans, identify opportunities, and drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.

The role emphasizes building long-term relationships across industries, cross-selling, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver customised solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in workplace safety / WHS products or related sectors.
• Strong sales and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to identify and secure new business opportunities.
• Comfort with outbound calls and door-knocking to open new accounts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory plan across Sydney.
• Identify and target new business opportunities and meet revenue targets.
• Prospect, cold call, and arrange meetings with new customers.
• Engage with decision-makers in HSE, WHS, procurement, and operations.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and grow revenue.
