Job summary

LexisNexis is seeking a Graduate Sales Associate in Sydney to help grow our small law firm client base. This entry-level, phone-based role requires no prior corporate sales experience and emphasizes learning prospecting, opening conversations, handling objections and building relationships.

You will work with experienced sales professionals to develop practical B2B skills, gain exposure to legal tech solutions, and progress toward future opportunities in business development and sales.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or early in your career with a passion for sales.
• Confident speaking with people and motivated to learn.
• Willing to learn prospecting, handling objections and building relationships.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to small law firms and introduce LexisNexis solutions.
• Speak with prospective customers to understand their business needs.
• Generate new sales opportunities through phone, email and outreach.
• Follow up inbound leads and marketing campaigns.
• Qualify prospective customers and identify genuine opportunities.
• Book product demonstrations and appointments.
• Work with Business Development Managers to progress opportunities.
• Build knowledge of legal technology, AI and professional sales.
• Use CRM and digital tools to manage activity and pipeline.
• Use AI tools to improve prospecting, productivity and customer engagement.
