Job summary

Motor Staff on the Gold Coast is seeking a capable Workshop Controller to oversee the daily flow of work through the service department. You will coordinate repair orders, allocate tasks by technician skills, monitor progress and keep Service Advisors informed to maintain smooth operations.

• Background in automotive workshop control or service operations within a busy dealership.
• Strong organisational and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to balance workshop capacity with technician availability and customer delivery commitments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate repair orders and allocate work according to technician skills and availability.
• Monitor job progress and maintain close communication with Service Advisors and workshop staff.
• Maximise efficiency, minimise downtime and ensure vehicles are completed to required standards and timeframes.
