Job summary

Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) is seeking an IT Support Engineer (Level 2) to join its global IT team from Cairns, Australia. This role provides second-line technical support to staff across time zones, helping keep them connected, secure, and productive.

You'll manage Microsoft 365, Azure AD, endpoint devices, and security controls; mentor colleagues; document processes; and contribute to global IT projects.

Qualifications

• Relevant IT qualification or proven equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years' IT support or systems administration.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Windows, and endpoint management.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
• Excellent spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support across Microsoft 365, Azure AD, endpoint devices, networking, and collaboration platforms.
• Investigate and resolve escalated issues while delivering an exceptional support experience.
• Support cybersecurity, identity and access management, and endpoint compliance.
• Assist with system upgrades, deployments, and global IT projects.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles.
• Work with colleagues worldwide to improve IT services.
• Mentor junior team members and share knowledge across the global team.
• Help ensure technology remains reliable, secure, and ready for mission operations.
