AMG Freight in Sydney is seeking an Import Operations & Administration Officer to support sea and air freight shipments. You will handle daily import paperwork, liaise with overseas offices and customers, and assist with invoicing and accounts entry in Xero.

The role offers full-time hours, exposure to CargoWise/Cargo systems, and opportunities to develop skills across operations, finance, and administration within a growing logistics team.

Competenze

• 1–3 years of experience in freight forwarding, import operations or logistics administration.
• Basic understanding of international sea and/or air freight import procedures.
• Experience handling shipping documents, operational emails and shipment records.
• Strong attention to detail with documents and invoices.
• Good organisational skills to manage multiple shipments and tasks.

Mansioni

• Handle daily import documentation for sea and air freight shipments.
• Coordinate with overseas offices and agents to verify and process shipping documents.
• Monitor shipment progress and follow up on outstanding documents.
• Forward shipment information to customers, suppliers and internal teams.
• Maintain shipment records in the cargo management system.
• Assist with invoicing and accounts payable/receivable tasks.
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to operations and management.
