Job summary

Pace Appointments Pty in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Import Operator to manage import shipments from start to finish, liaising with customers, overseas agents and shipping lines to ensure timely cargo movement.

You will coordinate customs clearance, monitor progress and provide updates, while maintaining records and delivering a high level of customer service. Australian resident applicants only.

Qualifications

• Experience in Import Operations within Freight Forwarding.
• Good knowledge of Sea Freight imports.
• Cargowise experience highly desirable.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Position Overview

Our Client is seeking an experienced Import Operator to join their Freight Forwarding team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing import shipments from start to finish, liaising with customers, overseas agents, shipping lines and internal teams to ensure the smooth and timely movement of cargo. This position requires strong operational knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple shipments while delivering a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Salary and Perks

$75,000 - $90,000 + Super Salary negotiable depending on experience.
