With training provided, you will learn to register freight jobs, monitor arrivals, interact with overseas agents and service providers, and assist with bookings and invoicing while delivering reliable service to clients.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Register import sea and air freight jobs and maintain accurate shipment records.
• Monitor shipment arrivals and follow up on pre-alerts and missing documents.
• Communicate with overseas agents, shipping lines, airlines, freight terminals and service providers.
• Assist with cargo release, transport bookings and delivery arrangements.
• Keep customers and colleagues updated on shipment progress.
• Check supplier invoices against agreed rates and flag discrepancies.
• Support data entry, document filing, email enquiries and general office administration.
