Job summary

Sonnel Hospitality Group is seeking an experienced Gaming Attendant for Crossroads Hotel to join our premier Sydney-area venues and deliver outstanding guest experiences on the gaming floor.

You will manage customer interactions, adhere to licensing requirements, handle cash, and maintain the gaming area’s cleanliness and safety. A TAB/Keno background and flexibility with shifts are highly valued; a police check may be required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience working in Gaming in hospitality/pubs and clubs.
• TAB certified (valid TAB compliance and TAB basics certificates)
• Strong customer service skills with a fun, outgoing personality.

• Greeting and serving customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Adhering to licensing laws and regulations.
• Collaborating with the hospitality team to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Delivering outstanding customer service at all times.
• Performing basic maintenance and service on poker machines.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting and serving customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Adhering to all relevant licensing laws and regulations
• Working collaboratively with the wider hospitality team to ensure a positive customer experience
• Delivering outstanding customer service at all times
• Performing basic maintenance and service on poker machines
• Handling cash transactions accurately and responsibly
• Responding to guest enquiries and resolving issues on the gaming floor
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across the venue

What we're looking for

• Current Valid RSA/RCG/ARCG/TAB Compliance certificates
• Strong customer service skills are essential coupled with a fun and outgoing personality.
• Flexible availabilities as there will be varying shifts each week
• Experienced in tab and keno operations
• Gaming service and knowledge of gaming machines
• Minimum 1 - 2 years' experience working in Gaming in hospitality/pubs and clubs
• TAB certified (valid tab compliance and tab basics certificates)
• Experience is highly regarded but willing to train the right candidate
• Applicants must have full working rights with no restrictions.
