Certis Security Australia is seeking professional Security Officers to support a high-profile government services site in Rockhampton, Queensland. This frontline role requires professionalism, calmness and strong customer service as you maintain a safe environment and deliver exceptional service.

You will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff, enforcing site procedures and providing a welcoming, professional experience while upholding security protocols.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, security or a public-facing role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage conflict and difficult situations professionally.
• Excellent customer service focus and professional presentation.
• Strong attention to detail and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow site procedures.
• Flexible availability and reliability.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced or sensitive environments.

• Managing access points and maintaining a safe and secure environment.
• Monitoring customer movements throughout the site.
• Delivering exceptional customer service and assistance.
• Identifying and responding appropriately to security incidents.

• Supporting emergency response procedures when required.
• Conducting security checks and maintaining site compliance.
• Completing incident reports and daily activity records.
