Job summary

Certis Security Australia is seeking professional Security Officers to support a high-profile government services site in Townsville and Aitkenvale, Queensland. This is a casual, frontline role requiring professionalism and customer service excellence.

You will monitor access points, respond to incidents and deliver a calm, respectful security presence during business hours Monday to Friday, with day shifts.

About the Role

The security team at this site plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, comfort and confidence of the community accessing government services.

As the first point of contact for visitors and staff, you will set the tone, delivering a welcoming, respectful and professional experience while maintaining strict adherence to site procedures and security protocols.

This is a highly customer-focused role requiring strong communication skills, sound judgement and the ability to confidently manage difficult or sensitive situations. You will be responsible for maintaining site security while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

This is a casual opportunity offering flexibility, with shifts primarily available Monday to Friday during business operating hours.
