Job summary

Brink’s Australia is seeking a Customer Service Representative specializing in freight forwarding to ensure secure, smooth transportation of goods and exceptional client service. You will coordinate shipments, respond to inquiries, and resolve issues to uphold our reputation for excellence.

You will work office-based with potential WFH options after training and probation, and join a global team dedicated to secure logistics and value protection.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in freight or logistics.
• Willing to obtain dangerous goods and AACA qualifications within 6 months.
• Experience with secure or sensitive cargo handling is advantageous.
• Proficient with MS Office, Outlook and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate high value transportation including imports, exports, and domestic movements.
• Prepare and submit import/export documentation complying with customs laws and procedures.
• Liaise with customs brokers, ABF, clients, and internal stakeholders to resolve customs issues.
• Maintain effective communication with Brinks depots, branches and affiliates domestically and internationally.
• Identify and resolve quality issues through designated channels.
• Handle customer inquiries promptly and escalate to management when needed.
• Record shipment details accurately in systems and maintain shipment documentation.
• Coordinate with airlines, cargo handlers and customs to expedite clearance.
