Job summary

Brinks Australia is seeking a Customer Service Representative specializing in freight forwarding to ensure the smooth and secure transport of goods while delivering exceptional service to clients.

You will coordinate shipments, address inquiries, and work with customs brokers and internal teams to resolve issues, upholding our reputation for reliability. Five days on-site with WFH options after training, strong communication and organization required.

Qualifications

• Ability to acquire and maintain training in dangerous goods and AACA within 6 months.
• Experience handling high value cargo and freight forwarding is desirable.
• Solid understanding of customer service in logistics environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate high value transportation including imports/exports and domestic movements.
• Prepare and submit import/export documentation ensuring compliance.
• Liaise with customs brokers, ABF, clients and internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Maintain communication with Brinks depots, branches and affiliates, domestically and internationally.
• Handle customer enquiries promptly and professionally; escalate to manager when needed.
• Ensure shipment details are accurately recorded and documented in systems.
