Job summary

People First Bank is seeking a Customer Service Consultant for our Berri Branch in South Australia. You will welcome customers, handle transactions, and guide them through digital banking solutions while building lasting relationships.

This flexible part-time role offers a rotating roster (15–32 hours per week) and a supportive team focused on community banking. Training will be provided to ensure excellent service delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service roles within a retail or banking environment.
• Ability to handle cash accurately and manage basic transactions.
• Strong communication skills with empathy and clarity.
• Willingness to learn new digital banking tools and systems.
• Proactive, results-driven and collaborative team member.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with transactional needs and inquiries in-branch.
• Engage in conversations to identify suitable solutions for customers’ financial needs.
• Build relationships and refer to lending specialists when appropriate.
• Support customers in using digital banking services.
• Prioritize and complete tasks accurately while navigating multiple systems.
• Contribute to a collaborative, positive branch environment.
