Job summary

Capability Support Services is seeking a motivated Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our Brisbane team on a flexible contractor basis. You will primarily work from home, supporting clients in their homes, schools, workplaces and communities across Caboolture, North Lakes, Brisbane, Morayfield and surrounds.

You will conduct functional behaviour assessments, develop PBSPs, monitor progress and coach families and support networks, while ensuring NDIS requirements and participant-centered

Qualifications

• Experience working within the NDIS framework.
• Strong communication with a warm, empathetic approach.
• Values-driven with integrity and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with participants and their support networks.
• Conduct functional behaviour assessments and analyse data.
• Develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs).
• Monitor progress and adjust strategies to achieve meaningful outcomes.
• Provide coaching and guidance to families and support teams.
• Identify and manage Restrictive Practices in line with NDIS requirements.
• Deliver training and contribute to team projects and workshops.
