Job summary

Everyday Independence is seeking a qualified Behaviour Support Practitioner to deliver life-changing therapy to NDIS participants in Northern Brisbane. Role involves diverse settings from homes to schools and workplaces, focusing on building relationships and enabling goal achievement.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor, Masters or Graduate Diploma) with professional registration.
• Minimum 12 months experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.
• Valid Australian driver’s license.
• NDIS Workers Screening Check.
• Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Work in diverse settings including homes, schools, playgrounds, workplaces and community centres.
• Develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans with function-based strategies.
• Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA).
• Collaborate within interdisciplinary teams to address complex behavioural challenges.
• Attend weekly team meetings in the Hub and engage with mentors.
