Job summary

Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority at Lorne Foreshore Caravan Park is seeking enthusiastic Caravan Park Attendants to join our team. This hands-on, customer-focused role supports daily operations through customer service, reception, cleaning and grounds maintenance.

You will clean amenity blocks and cabins, assist with bookings and inquiries, and work indoors and outdoors, with some evening shifts during peak summer.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in hospitality, tourism, accommodation or retail.
• Strong interaction with guests from diverse backgrounds.
• Experience cleaning and maintaining facilities to a high standard.
• Willingness to perform cabin and amenity block cleaning duties.
• Practical skills in grounds maintenance and outdoor work.
• Basic maintenance or handyman skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Good organisation and time management.
• Proactive approach to work.
• First Aid Certificate.
• Experience using RMS booking systems.
• Safe manual handling and chemical use.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Assist with reception duties, including bookings, enquiries and reservations.
• Respond to guest requests and elevate issues when required.
• Clean and maintain cabins, amenity blocks, camp kitchens, offices and other park facilities.
• Complete general housekeeping tasks including vacuuming, mopping, laundry, rubbish removal and bed making.
• Maintain the presentation of the park through mowing, weeding, pruning, mulching and general groundskeeping.
• Undertake basic maintenance and handyman tasks such as painting and minor repairs.
• Assist with stock handling, rubbish collection and maintaining safe, clean and functional facilities.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and help ensure a high standard of guest satisfaction.
