Job summary

The Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority is seeking two Caravan Park Attendants to join our Accommodation Services team. Based across Princetown Recreation Reserve and Port Campbell Recreation Reserve, this hands-on role supports day-to-day operation and delivers high presentation standards for popular coastal visitor destinations.

Ideally you enjoy a mix of indoor and outdoor work, with strong customer service, communication and team skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, hospitality, tourism, retail or a similar environment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist across a variety of duties.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Practical experience in cleaning, grounds maintenance, general maintenance, or a combination of these areas.
• Proactive approach to problem solving and delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Providing friendly and professional customer service to guests in person, over the phone and via email.
• Assisting with bookings, enquiries and reservations using our booking systems.
• Supporting guests throughout their stay and helping resolve customer concerns.
• Cleaning cabins, amenities blocks, kitchens, offices and other shared facilities to a high standard.
• Maintaining grounds through activities such as mowing, pruning, weeding, mulching and general landscaping.
• Undertaking general maintenance and handyman tasks, including minor repairs and painting.
• Assisting with rubbish removal, stock handling and maintaining the overall presentation of the parks.
• Working collaboratively with the broader Accommodation Services team to deliver safe, welcoming and enjoyable visitor experiences.
