Spinifex Recruiting is seeking a proactive Service Advisor / Fleet Administrator to support the day-to-day management of a busy fleet of traffic control vehicles and operational assets in Byron Bay.

This diverse role blends fleet coordination, administration, rostering and field-based problem solving, requiring ownership, urgency and hands-on communication with mechanics, suppliers and field staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in fleet administration, service advising or workshop coordination.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Confidence communicating with mechanics, suppliers and staff.
• Detail oriented with solid record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Monitor faults, log issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Liaise with mechanics, suppliers and repairers to minimise downtime.
• Source parts and equipment and maintain fleet records.
• Coordinate inspections and rostering of the workforce.
• Support invoicing, administration and reporting.
