Job summary

OCC in Melbourne seeks a highly organised Fleet Coordinator to support daily fleet and depot operations. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will coordinate fleet activities, manage servicing, maintenance, compliance, and cost reporting while liaising with drivers and suppliers.

You will contribute to efficiency improvements, monitoring utilisation and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across the depot as the Traffic Management division expands.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a Fleet Coordinator, Fleet Administrator or similar operational support role.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Current Australian Driver Licence.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the fleet.
  • Manage vehicle servicing, maintenance, repairs, and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor fleet utilisation and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Schedule preventative maintenance and minimise vehicle downtime.
  • Liaise with drivers, management and suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate fleet records, reporting and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, safety standards and legislative requirements.
  • Prepare regular fleet performance and cost reports.
  • Coordinate setup, fit out and readiness of traffic management pod trucks and utes.

Job description

OCC is seeking a highly organised and proactive Fleet Coordinator to support the day-to-day management of our fleet and depot operations in North Melbourne. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven coordinator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping operations running safely, efficiently and effectively. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in supporting our growing Traffic Management business.

THE ROLE
  • Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the fleet
  • Manage vehicle servicing, maintenance, repairs, and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor fleet utilisation and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Schedule preventative maintenance and ensure vehicle downtime is minimised.

ABOUT YOU
  • Previous experience in a Fleet Coordinator, Fleet Administrator, Traffic Management or similar operational support role.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Current Australian Driver Licence.

  • Experience using Traffio or similar fleet management systems.
  • Previous experience in the traffic management, civil construction or infrastructure sectors.
  • HR Licence
