Job summary

Hume City Council is seeking a Fleet Workshop Service Advisor in Coolaroo to act as the link between workshop operations and fleet clients. You will manage service requests, maintain asset records, and ensure accurate invoicing and data integrity in our Fleet Management Software.

The role requires experience in fleet administration, parts management and customer service within a local government or related sector, with proficiency in TechOne or similar systems.

Qualifications

• Post-trade or tertiary qualifications in Automotive Technology or related field.
• Experience with fleet maintenance processes and asset management systems.
• Proficiency in Fleet Management Software and data entry.
• Ability to manage work orders, PO processes and supplier invoices.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for fleet maintenance requests and provide status updates.
• Create, manage and close work orders in Fleet Management Software.
• Raise and manage purchase orders and service requests with suppliers.
• Maintain asset data, service histories, warranties and compliance records.
• Support reporting for VicRoads, NHVR and other statutory needs.
• Assist with parts sourcing, ordering and receipting, ensuring value for money.
• Collaborate with Fleet Workshop Supervisor on data preparation and budgeting.
