Job summary

Sydney Catholic Early Childhood Services (SCECS) is seeking an ICT Support Specialist to be the day-to-day technology contact across our services and to support the IT Manager. You will deliver practical technical support and help establish reliable ICT processes.

The role involves travel to SCECS services in Sydney, configuring Windows and Apple devices, and creating simple guides for staff. NSW driving licence and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in an IT support role.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
• Experience across Windows, macOS and iOS.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to explain technology clearly to non-technical staff.
• Excellent written communication and ability to create user guides.
• Willingness to travel regularly to SCECS services across Sydney.
• Current NSW Driver Licence and Working with Children Check & Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Serve as day-to-day point of contact for technology across SCECS and support the IT Manager.
• Provide practical technical support and help develop ICT processes across services.
• Manage service desk requests, incidents and technical issues.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding, user access, licenses and device enrollment.
• Travel to SCECS services to provide hands-on technical support.
• Configure and deploy Windows and Apple devices; support Intune and Apple Business Manager.
• Create simple guides for educators and non-technical staff and maintain ICT runbooks.
