Job summary

BaptistCare NSW & ACT is seeking an IT Field Support Engineer to deliver hands-on, face-to-face IT support across multiple sites. You will deploy, troubleshoot and maintain end-user devices, support upgrades and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve service delivery.

The role requires 3+ years in IT support or field engineering, strong troubleshooting skills in Microsoft environments, and a willingness to travel between BaptistCare locations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in IT Support/Desktop/Field Engineer roles.
• Strong troubleshooting across Microsoft technologies and devices.
• Experience with IT service management practices.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid Australian driver’s license and willingness to travel between BaptistCare locations.
• Relevant IT qualifications or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite IT support and service restoration across multiple locations.
• Deploy, configure and troubleshoot end-user devices and site technology.
• Support technology upgrades, migrations, projects and site changes.
• Maintain accurate IT asset and configuration records.
• Identify recurring issues, risks and opportunities for service improvement.
• Collaborate with Service Desk, Infrastructure, Network, Applications and Cyber Security teams.
• Participate in on-call and after-hours support arrangements as required.
