Job summary
Generators Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth across the NSW region from our St Marys base. This field-based role focuses on hunting new opportunities, building a strong pipeline, converting leads, and delivering tailored hire solutions while exceeding sales targets.
You will engage with clients on site visits, prepare accurate quotes, and collaborate with internal teams to provide outstanding service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, B2B sales, or account management
- Track record of winning new business and growing revenue
- Equipment hire, construction, or related industry experience (highly regarded)
- Strong negotiation, communication, and closing skills
- Results-driven, target-focused mindset
- High energy, resilience, and self-motivation
- Excellent time management and territory planning skills
- A current driver's licence
Responsibilities
- Hunting and securing new business opportunities across the NSW region
- Actively building a strong pipeline of qualified prospects
- Turning cold and warm leads into long-term customers
- Becoming a trusted solutions partner to your clients
- Consistently achieving and exceeding monthly and annual sales targets
- Conducting regular customer site visits and strengthening relationships
