Hoban Recruitment in Sydney is seeking a confident Field Collections Officer to join our established Australian financial services client. You will manage your own portfolio, conduct face-to-face visits and negotiate practical repayment solutions.

This hands-on, autonomous role rewards performance with a base salary of $88,500 plus commission, and opportunities to develop specialist negotiation and financial services experience while working in a field-based capacity.

HOBAN Recruitment is seeking a confident, motivated and results-driven Field Collections Officer to join an established Australian financial services organisation.

If you enjoy working independently, meeting people face-to-face and using your communication and negotiation skills to achieve results, this could be a great opportunity.

You’ll manage your own portfolio of customer accounts, conducting field visits, building rapport and negotiating practical repayment solutions.

This is a hands-on, field-based position suited to someone who thrives on autonomy, enjoys a challenge and is comfortable having direct conversations with customers.

What you’ll be doing

• Confidence approaching and engaging customers face-to-face.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Resilience and the ability to navigate challenging conversations professionally.
• A self-motivated, organised and results-focused approach.
• Confidence using mobile technology and customer management systems.
• The ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.

Previous debt collection experience is advantageous but not essential. We’re equally interested in candidates with strong transferable skills and the right attitude.
