Job summary

Starlight is seeking a Family Relationship Coordinator in Sydney to support the Wishgranting Program. The role focuses on building strong relationships with families, delivering memorable experiences, and coordinating cross-team activities.

You will work with health professionals, the Wish Experience team, and other parts of the organisation to ensure every child feels seen and supported. This part-time, 12-month contract requires trauma-informed care, empathy, and a collaborative approach, with

Qualifications

Qualification in health services, social work, welfare, or related field.
Experience working directly with families, especially with children or young people.
Strong understanding of family-centred care and advocacy for each family.
Confidence using systems and databases; CRM familiarity requested.
Collaborative mindset and ability to work across teams to implement wishes.

Responsibilities

Serve as the main point of contact for families in the Wishgranting Program.
Build strong, respectful relationships and support families through challenging times.
Coordinate Box Office activities and ensure seamless execution of wishes.
Welcome families into the program and help deliver unforgettable Starlight experiences.
