Minor Hotels’ Avani Cypress Lakes Resort is seeking a proactive Food & Beverage Team Leader to join on a full-time basis. You will lead a small F&B team, oversee breakfast, lunch, and dinner service, mentor staff, and ensure guest satisfaction with high-quality standards.

Responsibilities include rostering, shift coordination, and maintaining RSA and hygiene compliance while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience leading, coaching, or mentoring a hospitality team.
• Experience as F&B Attendant, Waiter/Waitress or Bartender.
• Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification.
• Reliable and flexible to work across a rotating roster.
• Professional presentation and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the F&B team to deliver high-quality service.
• Assist with guest orders and accommodate preferences.
• Demonstrate menu knowledge and upsell food and beverages.
• Oversee serving to maintain standards and guest satisfaction.
• Coach and mentor team members and provide training as needed.
• Assist with rostering, shift coordination and workflow planning.
• Ensure RSA, hygiene and WHS standards are met.
• Support management with reporting, stock management and service improvements.
