Job summary

Avani Cypress Lakes Resort in the Hunter Valley invites hospitality professionals to join its Food & Beverage team across full-time, part-time and casual roles. You will deliver service across restaurants, bars, and events spaces, support daily F&B operations, and have opportunities to lead and develop a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel, resort, restaurant or high-volume hospitality preferred.
• Current RSA certification.
• Current Food Safety certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
• Supervisor roles: prior experience leading a Food & Beverage team is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, professional, and efficient service across our restaurants, bars, and events spaces.
• Support daily Food & Beverage operations, including restaurant service, functions, and guest experiences.
• Lead and support team members to deliver service excellence (Supervisor positions).
• Ensure food and beverage standards are maintained in line with brand expectations.
• Create a welcoming and positive atmosphere for guests and team members.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and workplace safety.
