Job summary

Crystalbrook Bailey is a modern, artistically inspired hotel in Cairns. We seek an Executive Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping team, uphold high standards, and ensure rooms and public areas meet exacting expectations.

You will report to the Hotel General Manager and drive cost-conscious, guest-focused operations. You will oversee rostering, budgets and stock control, while developing your people and promoting responsible housekeeping aligned with Crystalbrook Collection’s sustainable luxury

Qualifications

• Experience leading a large hotel housekeeping team.
• Strong grasp of room presentation, cleanliness and guest service standards.
• Experience recruiting, training and developing team members.
• Ability to manage departmental budgets, labour and stock.
• Proficient with hotel systems to plan workloads and monitor results.

Responsibilities

• Lead housekeeping across guest rooms and public spaces, setting clear standards.
• Oversee rostering, budgets and stock control.
• Collaborate with Front Office and Maintenance to ensure room readiness.
• Develop and support staff to deliver consistent, responsible housekeeping.
