Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Technical Director - Electrical Engineer (Building Services) to lead a national building engineering team from Sydney or Perth. You will manage a large, multidisciplinary team and contribute to landmark projects across Australia and New Zealand.

The role requires extensive electrical engineering expertise, Chartered status or eligibility, and strong leadership and client-management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering is required or equivalent.
• Senior-level consultancy experience in building services engineering is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary building projects across Australia and NZ.
• Provide technical leadership and governance for electrical building services design.
• Drive innovation and ensure high-quality, coordinated outcomes across documents and models.
• Mentor and develop multidisciplinary services engineering teams.
• Strengthen Building Services capability across ANZ and contribute to strategy.
