Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Technical Director with a strong Building Services background to lead major projects from Brisbane, Sydney, Perth, Canberra or Adelaide. You will provide senior technical leadership, oversee multidisciplinary design, manage project delivery and support business growth with clients across a national portfolio.

The role demands extensive experience, Chartered engineering credentials, and a proven track record in leading high-performing teams on complex building services schemes.

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Fire/Hydraulics Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer and relevant registrations are preferred.
• Extensive building services experience in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical and design leadership across major Building Engineering projects, maintaining quality, programme, budget and client outcomes.
• Lead project teams and take responsibility for delivery of a portfolio of projects.
• Work with clients to understand needs, build relationships and provide practical engineering solutions.
• Lead design management, technical reviews and project delivery across multidisciplinary teams.
• Support business development and win work through client engagement and proposals.
