Job summary

YMCA Brisbane is seeking an enthusiastic Educational Leader to join our Outside School Hours Care team on a permanent part-time basis on the Gold Coast, Queensland. You will help shape fun, engaging programs that support children's learning and development after school hours, guiding a team of educators and ensuring a safe, inclusive environment for every child.

Working with our Children’s Services Leadership Team, you’ll foster child-centred play-based learning, promote best practice, and build

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children's Services (desirable).
• Minimum three years’ experience in an Early Childhood Education and Care setting.
• Knowledge of the approved learning framework is preferred.
• Ability to coach and mentor others.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive the creation, delivery, and ongoing improvement of inspiring educational programs.
• Guide, motivate, and empower educators to reach their potential.
• Champion child-centred, play-based learning that aligns with frameworks.
