Job summary

The Y Australia in Queensland is seeking an enthusiastic Educational Leader to join our YMCA Logan Village Outside School Hours Care team on a permanent part-time basis. You will guide educators, shape engaging programs for children outside school hours, and ensure a safe, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent (desirable).
• Minimum three years’ experience in an Early Childhood Education and Care setting.
• Knowledge of the approved learning framework.

Responsibilities

• Drive the creation and delivery of engaging educational programs.
• Coach and mentor educators to reach their potential.
• Champion child-centred, play-based learning that aligns with frameworks.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team culture.
• Lead by example and promote reflective teaching practices.
• Collaborate with families, schools and community partners to support each child.
• Ensure programs meet compliance and high standards of care.
