YMCA Queensland seeks an enthusiastic Educational Leader to join the Rochedale South Outside School Hours Care team on a permanent part-time basis. You will shape engaging programs that support children's learning and development outside of school hours, and guide a team of educators to ensure each child feels safe, supported and included.

Under the guidance of our Children’s Services Leadership Team, you’ll drive inspiring curricula, coach educators, champion play-based learning, and build a

Competenze

• Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent is desirable.
• Minimum three years’ experience in an Early Childhood Education and Care setting.
• Comprehensive working knowledge of the approved learning framework.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor others.
• Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of child development and attachment.
• Understanding of evidence-based best practice in teaching and learning.
• Knowledge of leadership theory and a range of leadership styles.
• Current First Aid and CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Current Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
