Job summary

YMCA Queensland is seeking an enthusiastic Educational Leader for Kedron Outside School Hours Care on a permanent part-time basis. You will shape engaging programs, guide educators, and ensure every child feels safe, included and inspired.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent is desirable.
• Minimum three years’ experience in an Early Childhood Education and Care setting.
• Knowledge of the approved learning framework.
• Ability to coach and mentor others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive the creation, delivery, and ongoing improvement of educational programs for children.
• Guide, motivate and empower educators to reach their potential.
• Champion child-centred, play-based learning aligned with current frameworks.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, collaborative team culture.
• Lead by example and promote reflective practice and best teaching approaches.
• Engage with families, schools, and community partners to support each child.
• Ensure programs meet governance and compliance standards.
