Job summary

YMCA Queensland is seeking an enthusiastic Educational Leader to join our Hilliard Outside School Hours Care team on a permanent part-time basis. You’ll shape engaging programs that support children’s learning outside of school hours and guide a team of educators to bring ideas to life while keeping kids safe, included, and supported.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children’s Services (desirable).
• Minimum three years’ experience in an ECEC setting.
• Knowledge of the approved learning framework.

Responsibilities

• Drive the creation and delivery of inspiring educational programs.
• Coach and empower educators to reach their potential.
• Champion play-based, child-centred learning aligned with frameworks.
• Build a positive, inclusive team culture with families and partners.
• Lead by example with reflective practice and high teaching standards.
• Ensure programs meet compliance and safety requirements.
