Job summary

YMCA Brisbane is seeking an Educational Leader to join the Virginia Outside School Hours Care team on a permanent part-time basis. You will guide a team of educators, shape engaging programs for children’s learning outside school hours, and ensure a safe, inclusive environment.

With a Diploma in Children’s Services (desirable) and at least three years in early childhood, you’ll lead by example, coach teams, and collaborate with families and community partners to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Three years plus experience in an Early Childhood Education and Care setting.
• Diploma in Children’s Services is desirable.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the approved learning framework.
• Ability to coach, mentor and lead others.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of evidence-based teaching practices.
