Job summary

Australian Venue Co. is seeking a Duty Manager/Assistant Venue Manager in Brisbane to drive day-to-day operations, uphold service standards and lead a dynamic hospitality team.

You will be responsible for supporting staff, managing stock and procedures, and ensuring guests receive exceptional experiences. The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting with a rotating roster that includes nights, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in a relevant hospitality role with leadership duties.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations.
• Ability to manage staff, stock, opening and closing procedures.
• Capable of staying calm and effective in a busy venue.
• Willingness to work a rotating roster including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Focus on the progression and development of the team.
