Job summary

Crowne Plaza Sydney Darling Harbour is seeking a Duty Manager to lead from the front, ensuring smooth day-to-day hotel operations and delivering memorable guest experiences. You will work closely with the Front Office and other departments to drive service excellence and develop a high-performing team.

The ideal candidate has a passion for hospitality, strong leadership and communication skills, and a calm, proactive approach under pressure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a hotel supervisory or leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Front Office team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Create a positive, high-performing workplace through coaching, mentoring, and development.
• Ensure smooth daily hotel operations, including guest services, staffing, and financial procedures.
• Resolve guest concerns confidently and professionally, turning challenges into positive outcomes.
• Work collaboratively across departments to maintain service excellence.
• Act as the senior point of contact during emergency situations and operational escalations.
