Job summary

PARKROYAL Hotels & Resorts Sydney CBD is seeking an experienced Duty Manager to join our Front Office team. You will help lead the Front Office and Concierge teams, ensuring smooth check-in/check-out, loyalty program enrollment, and excellent guest service.

The role reports to the Front Office Manager and requires a positive, energetic attitude, strong communication, and flexibility to work shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience with Opera PMS is required.
• Minimum 1 year in a similar role at a 4–5 star property.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential.
• Ability to build rapport with guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead check-in and checkout experiences with the Front Office team.
• Oversee Front Office & Concierge in loyalty program enrollment.
• Coordinate with other departments, maintain daily reports and lead operation briefings.
• Ensure a memorable guest experience and welcoming atmosphere.
• Uphold procedures and quality standards across the lobby and team.

We are seeking an experienced Duty Manager to join our team. This role will report to the Front Office Manager and is responsible for assisting in leading the Front Office and Concierge teams.

The successful candidate will:

• Lead check-in, checkout experience with the Front Office team
• Lead the Front Office & Concierge team in enrolment of hotel loyalty program
• Effectively communicate with all other departments including maintaining the daily reports, and leading the operation briefings for the team
• Ensure a memorable experience for all guests, making everyone feel welcome and valued
• Bringing energy and "can do" attitude to the Lobby and team
• Adhering to and championing procedures and quality standards

Ideally you will have:

• Previous experience with Opera
• 1 years experience in a similar role within a 4-5 star property
• Strong interpersonal skills
• The ability to easily build rapport with team members and guests is essential
• Responsible Service of Alcohol NSW certificate is essential
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
