Job summary

W Sydney is seeking a Duty Manager to lead the Front Desk/Welcome team, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth operations across Rooms Division. You will report to the Executive Assistant Manager of Rooms, maintaining high service standards and aligning with W brand guidelines to deliver a memorable guest journey.

The role requires supervisory experience in a luxury hotel, strong communication skills, and the ability to work weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in Front Desk/Front Office, preferably supervisory or DM.
• Knowledge of check-in/out procedures and Opera PMS.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Weekend/public holiday availability.
• Basic computer skills (email, MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Front Desk and Welcome desk operations.
• Support Whatever Whenever and Rooms divisions.
• Uphold W Sydney brand guidelines and service standards.
• Drive guest satisfaction with proactive service.
• Provide leadership in absence of senior leaders.
