Job summary

The Glen Hotel Pty in Melbourne is seeking an exceptional Duty Manager to join our management team. This hands-on leadership role requires dedication, energy and a genuine passion for hospitality, with a strong track record in supervision.

The successful applicant will have 2+ years’ supervisory experience and 5+ years’ hospitality experience, be highly organized, and demonstrate strong beverages and cocktails knowledge.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ supervisory experience in hospitality.
• 5+ years’ hospitality experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Leadership with ability to mentor and inspire a team.
• Stock ordering, stocktakes and batching experience.
• Strong beverage and cocktail knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train and motivate a team, while also working independently.
• Provide hands-on leadership on the floor and set a positive example for staff.
• Collaborate with management to implement ideas, processes and standards.
• Oversee stock ordering, stock takes and batching to ensure efficiency.
• Maintain high standards of guest service and hospitality at all times.
