Job summary

GPRWA Unit Trust’s The Rowing Pavilion in Perth is seeking a hands-on Duty Manager to thrive in a busy service environment. You’ll lead from the floor, support the team, and help deliver a memorable guest experience through clear communication and decisive action.

You’ll be coaching staff, resolving guest issues calmly, and ensuring standards across service, presentation and operations are consistently high, with ownership of shift outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supervising in hospitality.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Eager to learn, grow and build a name in hospitality.

We’re looking for a hands-on Duty Manager who loves the energy of busy service, leads from the floor and wants to bring the best out of the crew around them.

You might already be running shifts, or you might be a strong supervisor ready to step up. What matters most is that you’re dependable, good working with people and keen to keep learning.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading busy shifts and keeping the team clear, supported and moving.
• Setting the tone on the floor and jumping in wherever needed.
• Coaching team members and giving useful feedback in the moment.
• Making decisions and handling guest issues calmly and confidently.
• Keeping standards high across service, presentation and operations.
• Making sure each shift leaves the venue ready for the next one.

• Previous experience in leadership or supervisory role in hospitality.
• Great communication and problem-solving skills.
• Someone who is eager to learn, grow and ambitious about building a name for themselves.
