Job summary

atWork Australia is seeking a seasoned Manager, Business Intelligence to lead a national BI function and drive smarter decision-making across the organisation. This 12-month contract involves leading a team of 5, developing dashboards, and fostering data governance and a single source of truth.

You will partner with Finance, Operations and Executives to support commercial outcomes, lead forecasting and performance analysis, and mentor the BI team to advance data maturity and innovation across

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics or Data Management leadership roles.
• Advanced SQL and data modelling capabilities.
• Experience working with Databricks and modern data platforms.
• Proven people leadership experience, including leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at executive level.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• A customer-focused mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the BI function across atWork Australia leading a team of 5 direct reports.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and enterprise reporting solutions.
• Drive data quality, governance, and a 'single source of truth' approach.
• Partner with Finance, Operations and Executive stakeholders to support commercial outcomes.
• Lead forecasting, budgeting and performance analysis activities.
• Prioritise BI initiatives and manage competing business requirements.
• Provide advanced analytics and insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Mentor and develop BI team members while fostering a customer-focused culture.
• Support ongoing innovation, process improvement and data maturity across the business.
