Job summary

atWork Australia is seeking an experienced Manager, Business Intelligence to lead our BI function and drive smarter decision-making across our national organisation. This 12-month contract role combines leadership, commercial insight, and technical expertise to deliver high-impact reporting and data solutions influencing executive decisions.

• Extensive BI, analytics or data management leadership experience.
• Strong SQL and data modelling capabilities.
• Experience with Databricks and modern data platforms.

• Customer-focused mindset balancing strategy and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Business Intelligence function across atWork Australia, directing a team of 5 direct reports.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and enterprise reporting solutions.
• Drive data quality, governance, and a single source of truth.
• Partner with Finance, Operations and Executive stakeholders to support commercial outcomes.
• Lead forecasting, budgeting and performance analysis activities.
• Prioritise BI initiatives and manage competing business requirements.
• Provide advanced analytics and insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Mentor and develop BI team members while fostering a customer-focused culture.
• Support ongoing innovation, process improvement and data maturity across the business.
